Mötley Crüe co-founder and bass guitarist, Nikki Sixx, announced that he will start filming a new movie trailer by sharing a new post on his official Instagram account.

Nikki reached fame as one of the most valued members of Mötley Crüe because he contributed to most of the songs during the songwriting process. Besides that, he is also a creative person who enjoys embarking on various side projects, such as writing memoirs.

Nikki co-wrote his first book ‘The Dirt: Confessions of the World’s Most Notorious Rock Band’ with his bandmates at the beginning of the 2000s. He released his first personal memoir back in 2007, named ‘The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star.’

This year, Nikki started writing a new book and finished it some months ago. The book is titled ‘The First 21: A Memoir’ and will be purchasable in October 2021. Sixx recently announced that he’s started working on the promotion of his new book, which will be pretty interesting.

Yesterday, the iconic bass guitarist revealed that he has decided to film a movie trailer to promote his memoir. He expressed his excitement for getting the chance to ‘give this project a different kind of voice.’

Nikki Sixx announced his new project:

“I start filming tomorrow. Excited to give this project a different kind of voice. What are we doing? Simple idea: Film a movie trailer for a book.”
