Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx shared a post on his official Instagram page announcing that he finished the audiobook for his upcoming book, ‘The First 21:How I Became Nikki Sixx.‘ Furthermore, Sixx heralded new music with his side band Sixx: A.M. to be released with the book.

As some of you might know, Nikki Sixx previously published a book titled ‘The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star’ back in September 2007. The book was a collection of the rocker’s journal entries from 1986 and 1987, a dangerous period due to Sixx’s heroin addiction. The book was incredibly successful as it debuted at number 7 on The New York Times Best Seller List.

Fortunately for his fans, the Mötley Crüe bassist announced a brand new memoir named ‘The First 21: How I Became Nikki Sixx‘, which will be narrating his origin story. The book will mainly focus on Sixx’s upbringing and move to LA, where he began his career in music. The new memoir is set to be published on October 5 and ready for pre-order.

Recently, Nikki Sixx shared a post on his official Instagram page announcing that he finished recording his audiobook for the upcoming book. Furthermore, Sixx gave the good news to his fans by revealing that he will be releasing a new album with his side band Sixx: A.M. for the book along with vinyl.

Furthermore, Mötley Crüe’s bassist kept on giving details about the book and stated that ‘The First 21: How I Became Nikki Sixx’ is going to include never before seen pictures of the musician in addition to the story of his journey to becoming the rock star he is today.

The caption under the IG post reads:
