Mötley Crüe bassist and also the author of the three different books, Nikki Sixx, has shared a new photo on his official Instagram account today to announce that he’s writing his third book these days and it will be available for fans later this year.
As you might already remember, Nikki Sixx has released two different books in the 2000s. His first-ever book was ‘The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star’ which was the collection of his journals and the book has debuted at number 7 place on ‘The New York Times Best Seller’ list in 2007.
Later on, he released his second book which was the combination of prose and dramatic photographs named ‘This Is Gonna Hurt: Music, Photography, And Life Through The Distorted Lens Of Nikki Sixx.’
According to his latest Instagram post, Sixx is about the release his third book really soon and it’s not something similar he’s written in the past.
Here is what Nikki wrote in the caption of his recent post:
“Pecking away at another book. It isn’t about my adventurous life with the Crüe. It’s so different than anything I’ve done in the past.
Probably drop later this year with some cool tentacles attached. 📚 🖊 💡”
After sharing the post, over 25K people pushed the like button to show their eagerness and wanted to know the exact genre of the book.

Nikki Sixx responded and cleared the air:
“Nope. A different adventure.“
