Mötley Crüe co-founder and also the legendary bassist of the band for 40 years, Nikki Sixx, has taken his official Instagram account today and celebrated his long-time buddy and Crüe frontman Vince Neil’s 60th birthday with a simple and plain message.

While over 20K people pushed the like button and celebrated Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil’s birthday including Tool star Adam Jones, Vince himself did not post anything about his birthday until we write this article.

Vince Neil is one of the most talented vocalists of the century who has founded Mötley Crüe after seeing Tommy Lee’s drumming performance back in 1981. After the release of Mötley Crüe’s 1991 hit ‘Decade of Decadence’ 81-81, Neil was fired from the band because of his ongoing alcohol issues.

After he failed to show up for a rehearsal in 1992, the whole members agreed to fire him and four days later, his firing was officially announced. After going solo for 7 years, he reunited with the band with the Behind The Music episode that was released by VH1 in 1998.

Today, his old-time friend Nikki Sixx took his official Instagram page and showed his eagerness to play live on stage with Vince as soon as possible.

Here is what Nikki Sixx wrote in the caption of the post:

“Happy birthday to Vince Neil.

Can’t wait to get out and kick ass together. 🤍”
