Moreover, Sixx stated that he wants to shoot casual and small things that nobody thinks about. Mötley Crüe star said that he won’t be worrying about focusing, framing, or photoshopping the pictures.

Here is what Nikki Sixx wrote in the caption of his latest post:

My goal right now in photography is to simplify. Shoot the way our parents and grandparents did. From the hip and just shoot the things nobody thinks about shooting half the time.

Small stuff or just to the left. Just capture. Don’t always worry about focus or framing. Undo what you’ve learned. Not posed. Not photoshopped. I am mainly using a fixed 28mm Leica Q2 MONOCHROM.”

He added:

“I am using my family and my life outta the spotlight to zero in on. Here’s my son Decker Sixx on Christmas morning 2020 with his 17-month-old sister Ruby. To restart is to re-enjoy and to reinvent yourself. I am so bored with over-produced everything.

Less is more. Thanks to Leicaca Merausa for believing in me and my crazy ideas. #DocumentYourLife To know my life is to know my music & lyrics and to know my purpose beyond what has been documented before but at the same time possibly helps to explain a lot too.”
