The bassist of Mötley Crüe, Nikki Sixx is quite an active social media user. While fans love seeing him on his official Instagram page and get to know his opinions on his official Twitter page, he recently shared a post on his official Twitter page, admitting that being active on social media is hard to keep up.

Mötley Crüe was founded by bassist Nikki Sixx himself, the drummer Tommy Lee, the lead guitarist Mick Mars, and the lead singer Vince Neil. The band is mostly known for its crazy live performances which include flame thrower guitars, roller coaster drum kits, and heavy usage of pyrotechnics.

Band members are wild when it comes to performing, yet none of them use social media as frequently as Nikki Sixx. On his official Instagram page, Nikki shares pictures of his personal life, his lovely family, the announcements of the band, charity events in which he invites people to donate. Basically, he lets people in on his official Instagram page and fans love taking a glimpse of his life.

It is no different on Nikki‘s official Twitter page either. He is even more active than his official Instagram page. He tweets multiple times in a day, and the spirit is the same as he shares insights from his personal life, encourage people to donate, promoting Mötey Crüe’s music, and humorous details like pictures of a family fishing day. Fans, once again are obsessed with his genuine attitude in his tweets.

Nikki, nearly a week ago, shared his feelings with his fans about how living in seclusion on top of a mountain without any distraction like a phone, neighbors, and a mailbox helped his creativity.

Here is what he said:

“We live in a house on top of a mountain with no mailbox, no phone, and no neighbors as far as we can see. A long way from Hollywood but just down the road from where I lived in Idaho. Been exceptional for my creativity.

However, while being on social media this often benefits his fans, Nikki recently stated that keeping up with DM’s, Instagram, Twitter, and other accounts is hard enough, let alone knowing and using other social media platforms.

Here is what Nikki said about social media:

“I don’t even know what Tik Tock or Twitch is sadly. It’s hard enough to keep up with my DM’s, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Emails, and text messages.”
