Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx posted a tweet about the upcoming Mötley Crüe tour after a fan, who was concerned with Vince Neil’s vocal performance and the ongoing global pandemic, asked whether the band will be able to perform the concerts or not.
As you probably know, Mötley Crüe announced their Stadium Tour in 2019, along with Poison and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts as special guests. It was supposed to start in 2020 but was initially postponed to 2021 and then rescheduled for 2022 due to COVID-19 restrictions.
However, Mötley Crüe fans started to worry more about the band’s upcoming tour after their frontman Vince Neil couldn’t continue his performance and exclaimed that his voice was gone before leaving the stage. Therefore, some fans think Neil has lost his ability to sing, which will seriously damage the band’s tour in 2022. Even though Neil started going to the gym and trying different types of equipment to lose weight, he couldn’t convince the fans.
In his recent tweet, Nikki Sixx responded to his fans’ concern about Mötley Crüe Stadium Tour, saying they will definitely start their tour in 2022. It seems that the fans will keep questioning their upcoming performance until Vince Neil proves that he is ready to sing the Mötley Crüe classics without leaving the stage.
Here’s what a fan asked about the tour:
“Hey, Nikki I was wondering if the stadium tour is still a go next year. I’m worried because I’m really looking forward to it.”
