In a recent Twitter post, Mötley Crüe bass guitarist Nikki Sixx has revealed the exact reason why the band reunited after a very long time.
While the whole community is discussing the reunited Crüe members, a fan named Manuel Velasco has tweeted to Nikki Sixx and asked a really clever question about the connection between bands and movies.
Here is what Manuel Velasco said:
“@NikkiSixx Clint Eastwood makes movies at 89. And Rolling Stones still are active. Did you feel you retired Motley too soon and was one of the reasons to reunite?”
After a moment, Nikki Sixx replied to him and stated that Mötley Crüe’s movie, ‘The Dirt,’ was one of the main reasons of the reunion.
Here is what Nikki Sixx wrote:
“So many reasons. But it was the movie that reconnected us as a band.”
A fan named Eliana Bernardo replied:
“And thank you for the movie! The world needs Mötley Crüe”
