The co-founder and bass guitarist of Mötley Crüe, Nikki Sixx, recently posted a photo of a guitar on his Instagram account and shared the sentimental value of this instrument while saying that it rarely needs to be tuned.
Nikki Sixx is one of the rockstars who are the most active on their social media accounts. He often prefers to use his Twitter accounts to express his views on social and political matters or rock music, and his Instagram account to announce his latest projects and post sneak peeks from his life.
In his recent Instagram post, the well-known bassist talked about one of his favorite guitars ever. In the caption, he said that his Fender 1959 guitar, which costs over $3,000 today, has been used in the recording of numerous tracks while stating that it is ‘solid as a rock’ as he rarely needs to tune ‘her.’
