Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx recently posted a tweet on his official Twitter account to share his ideas on the upcoming Stadium Tour of Mötley Crüe and described it as a lifetime opportunity while giving the reasons behind it.
As you know, Nikki Sixx, who is a multitalented artist, has been working on several projects simultaneously. He recently announced his upcoming fourth book entitled ‘The First 21: How I Became Nikki Sixx’ which will be released on October 10, 2021. He also revealed that he will start his book signing tour after the release of his new autobiography.
Also, Nikki Sixx started to prepare himself mentally and physically for the band’s 2022 Stadium Tour saying that he went back to training along with planning the promotion process of his new book. Mötley Crüe’s Stadium Tour with Def Leppard, Poison, and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts will begin on June 16, 2022, and end on September 7, 2022.
In his recent tweet, Sixx highlighted that all the bands should do their best for the fans because it is a lifetime opportunity and probably the last time for everyone to see them playing on the same tour. It seems that the Stadium Tour might be the last live performance of the band. Also, his words can be considered as a reminder for the band’s frontman Vince Neil who was seen as out of shape during his latest concert.
Sixx’s tweet read:
“We need and will give 500% for our fans and fans of the other bands on the stadium tour. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for everybody involved. I’m already back into training even though it’s not till next year. Counting down the days.”
