Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx recently shared a post to reveal that Mötley Crüe is almost ready and about to start preparing their special shows for the band’s upcoming Stadium Tour on his official Twitter account.

Years ago, Mötley Crüe fans thought that The Final Tour, which started in the summer of 2014, and ended at the end of 2015, would be the band’s last series of live performances. The band went into a short time hiatus shortly after the end of their concerts, and it seemed like that was the end of Crüe.

However, the band surprised their fans by announcing their Stadium Tour as a part of their comeback reunion following the popularity of their biopic ‘The Dirt.’ It was supposed to begin in 2020, but it had to be rescheduled twice because of the COVID-19 outbreak. However, now the new dates seem to be final, and Def Leppard, Poison, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts will join them during the tour.

Mötley Crüe will hit the stage on June 16, 2022, in Atlanta, and the tour will end on September 7, 2022, in San Francisco. In his recent tweet, Nikki Sixx made their longtime fans very excited, saying that they are working on vintage stage shows, which he’s sure will surprise the audience. Sixx then said that he’s about to take a break in Mexico before they hit the road and stressed that they will finally meet again in a few months, and started the countdown.

Sixx’s tweet read:

“Had a good time seeing old friends and going through storage down in Los Angeles. The band is working on something cool using all this vintage stuff for the fans. Taking a fast break in Mexico before we go head down into tour mode. 126 days till opening night…”
