On his official Instagram account, Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx has posted a photo of him from childhood and wrote a conversation to show how he decided to change his name.

As we all know, iconic Mötley Crüe bassist changed his name when he quit from London, which is the band he played just before he formed Crüe. In their Netflix biopic The Dirt, you may see and learn too much information about that decision.

In the caption area of the post, Nikki has penned down a conversation between young Frankie and someone else. If you watched the movie, you probably figure out that this unknown person would be Frankie’s mother.

When I was thinking about the relationship between Nikki and his mother, I have to say that this conversation is probably comes from a true story. And it makes fans and everyone who knows Nikki’s life story sad.

Here’s what Nikki wrote:

“What do you wanna do with your life, Frankie?

When I grow up I am gonna write a song called “Shout At The Devil” and piss of a bunch of conservative assholes.

But wouldn’t you rather be a fireman Frankie?

No I’m gonna change my name to Nikki Sixx, light myself on fire and carry a flamethrower.

Um, ok good luck with that sweetie…”
