Alice Cooper guitarist Nita Strauss revealed her feelings about being on the front page of Guitar World Magazine by sharing a new post on the official Instagram account and explained what happened on that day.

While mentioning how the photoshoot session went and what they do, Nita stated that this was a lifetime dream for her, and everything was great and exciting. But, there was a problem for Nita.

As Nita stated in, she didn’t feel like it was real and couldn’t be happy like she managed to make her dream happen, even after she got an email from the magazine. Nita unveiled that it felt real when she saw herself in the cover of the magazine in the stores.

After telling the story behind the cover picture and her feelings, Nita showed her gratefulness and gratitude for Guitar World Magazine and thanked them for the opportunity they gave. She said that she is so honored to be a part of this project.

Here is what Nita Strauss said:

“I remember this shoot day feeling… Normal.⁣ There was no fancy location, no hair and makeup team, no massive crew of people. I rode up 3 floors in the hotel elevator, and walked into a suite with the couch pushed against a wall and a black photo backdrop hung in the empty space.⁣

I was in sweats and full stage makeup, carrying my stage clothes in a backpack. Coop was already there taking pictures, twirling his cane and snarling at the camera. ‘Jump in,’ he said, gesturing to the frame and apparently not noticing that I was wearing a Marshall Amps hoodie.⁣

The shoot took an hour or so, and was so laid back that I got in the elevator back to my room feeling… underwhelmed isn’t the right word, because it was great, but just like… huh. Guitar World magazine cover, lifelong dream, I guess that’s that. I kept my same makeup on for that night’s show. It definitely, definetly, did not feel real yet.⁣”

Nita continued:⁣

“It didn’t feel real when I got an email with the first cover image, which I HATED, and GW was gracious enough to change (still very grateful for that, Damian Fanelli 🙏🏻)⁣

It didn’t feel real when I got an email with the street date, which is when new issues get put into stores.⁣ It didn’t even feel real when subscribers, who get the magazine first, started tagging me in pictures on social media.⁣

So when did it feel real?⁣ I was walking down the aisle at my local Ralph’s grocery store in Hollywood and I stopped in my tracks. It was THERE. At the grocery store. Where I go every week when I’m home. Me and Alice, with the final picture that had been chosen, me in a strong stance and Coop giving a 💁🏻‍♂️ (now you can’t unsee it- he totally looks like that emoji.)⁣

⁣Super honored and grateful for this opportunity, and the chance to relive it and tell a very abbreviated story in this month’s issue. Thank you, Guitar World Magazine!!”
