Nita Strauss, the talented guitarist of Alice Cooper, has recalled the times before the global coronavirus outbreak and questioned whether the old normal had its day now as she revealed the story of her throwback picture.
Like lots of people in the music industry, Nita Strauss has been affected by the pandemic in terms of the risk it creates for her job and passion. Couldn’t get on the stage due to the safety reasons for months now, Strauss has shared a photo of herself taken on a train in New Zealand as the band was touring.
Nita explained the fact that none of us knew what the term ‘social distancing‘ meant and it would have never occurred to us to worry about being around strangers without a mask on. The successful guitarist added in a melodramatic tone that it feels strange to think over the touristy things she did as she admitted that the old normal seems so surreal now.
As you may remember, Nita Strauss has recently started a new fitness challenge to help her followers keep in their form during these dull quarantine days. Started the new 90 Day Body Shred challenge, Nita said that it is a way for us all to get our physical and mental health on track. While she has nostalgically remembered the good old days, Strauss has taken action for the good of the rock community.
Here is what Nita Strauss said in the caption of her throwback post:
“Josh V took this picture of me on a train somewhere in New Zealand (I think?) earlier this year. When none of us knew what the term ‘social distancing‘ meant and it would have never occurred to us to worry about being around strangers without a mask on.
Seems kind of strange now, thinking back on it… Touristy things (much like touring) seem like so long ago. When you think about the ‘old normal’, does it seem surreal and far away like it does to me? Or just kind of like it is what it is?”
