Guitar virtuoso Nita Strauss spoke in an interview with Altpress and revealed her thoughts about sexist people in music industry.

She said that ‘if you’re good at what you do, you can shut those people down really quickly’. Here’s the statement:

You see people who are sexist if you go the bank or the car wash or wherever it is, so I don’t think it’s a music industry specific thing.

The nice thing about the music industry is if you’re good at what you do, you can shut those people down really quickly. They might have that attitude with me before they see me play, but they usually don’t afterward.”

She contiuned:

“I’ve always found that I communicate better through playing the guitar. Sometimes it’s hard to find the right words to say. Music is the most honest form of communication; the way you can express yourself most truly.”

Nita’s debut album “Controlled Chaos” was released on November 16, 2018 via Sumerian Records. In June 2014, she replaced Orianthi in the band of hard rock legend Alice Cooper.

Yesterday, during the recent interview with Ultimate-Guitar, she said that would love to play with Metallica. Click here to details.
