One of the best photographers in the rock/metal community, Ross Halfin, uploaded unique pictures of Ozzy Osbourne via his official Instagram account while revealing an interesting story about his live shows.
According to Ross Halfin, Ozzy Osbourne has been using a person of short stature named Ronnie, to bring his drinks during the live shows of the ‘Speak Of The Devil‘ album era.
‘Speak Of The Devil’ live album is released with 12 tracks in 1982 that features the songs like ‘Paranoid,’ ‘Iron Man,‘ and many more. Additionally, the iconic album sold out over 60K units in the United Kingdom.
Recently on Instagram, Ross Halfin posted some rarely seen photos from the ‘Speak Of The Devil’ live album era. In the caption of his post, Halfin shared an interesting story about a man who was hanged from the ceiling of a stage as it’s displayed in one of the photos he posted.
Apparently, that man was known as ‘Ronnie’ and he used to carry drinks to the stage for Ozzy Osbourne. Moreover, Halfin revealed that Osbourne would hang Ronnie during the live performance of his song ‘Goodbye To Romance,’ which can be also seen in the last picture the famous photographer shared.

“Ozzy released the ‘Speak of the Devil’ live album on this day in 1982 so a few pictures from that era.
The person of short stature was affectionately known as ‘Ronnie’ (interpret that as you will). He used to bring Ozzy drinks throughout the show and during the song Goodbye to Romance, they’d hang him.”
