Black Sabbath icon Ozzy Osbourne revealed the first time when he heard The Beatles and shared his choice between the two Beatles icons, late frontman John Lennon and bassist Paul McCartney during an interview with My Planet Rocks, along with his wife, Sharon.

As many of you know, Ozzy Osbourne has huge admiration for The Beatles and he does not refrain from expressing his emotions when it comes to them. In every single interview, Osbourne praises The Beatles and reveals his appreciation with wonderful words about them.

Ozzy Osbourne even once revealed during an interview that when he first time listened to The Beatles, he decided what he wants to do with his life. In addition to this, Osbourne described listening to them for the first time as seeing color for the first time when you wake up from a black and white world.

Here is what Osbourne previously said about The Beatles:

“The only way I can describe it is like this, imagine you go to bed today and the world is black and white and then you wake up, and everything’s in color. That’s what it was like! That’s the profound effect it had on me.”

During a recent interview, Ozzy Osbourne revealed the first-ever song of The Beatles he has listened to, and apparently, it was ‘She Loves You’ which was released back in 1963 as a single. Osbourne mentioned that he heard the song for the first time while he was walking down the street.

Here is what Ozzy Osbourne stated about the first Beatles song he listened to:

“No, I was walking down the street with a transistor right over the side of my head, and ‘She Loves You’ was on the radio, and it just took me up.”

Furthermore, when he was asked about which one is better between two legendary Beatles members, late iconic frontman John Lennon or legendary bassist Paul McCartney, Osbourne’s answer was both. However, his wife Sharon, who was also a guest for the interview, immediately stated that her choice would be John Lennon.

Here is how Osbourne responded to the question asking him to choose between John Lennon and Paul McCartney:

“Both.”

Here is how Sharon Osbourne replied:

“John Lennon!”
