Legendary Black Sabbath vocalist Ozzy Osbourne spoke in a recent interview with Beats 1 and talked about his recently released album, Ordinary Man. He also has shared his thoughts on collaborating with one of the greatest musicians in this era, Elton John.
The Ordinary Man album is the twelfth studio album of Ozzy Osbourne, which was released on February 21, 2020, and collaborated with major musicians such as rapper Post Malone, Guns N ‘Roses bassist Duff McKagan, and Elton John.
While talking about his new album, Ozzy revealed the secret conversation with his wife, Sharon Osbourne, about Elton John and explained how he decided to collaborate with the musician.
Here’s what Ozzy Osbourne stated:
“When I first did that song [the title track, ‘Ordinary Man’], it reminded me of Elton John because one part in it, it’s like ’70s Elton John vibe. I asked Sharon, ‘Do you know if Elton would play?’ She goes, ‘Ask him.’ He said, ‘When? Where?'”
He also talked about his relationship with Elton. He continued:
“When the TV thing was going, ‘The Osbournes,’ people were just coming to the house. Sharon was, ‘Honey, come around.’ Maybe the most generous man I’ve ever met in my life. He does so much for charities, he’s great.”
