Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne spoke in a recent interview with Metal Hammer and talked about the reason why he never got COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The Prince of Darkness has gone through many health problems over the years, especially due to his drug addiction. Most recently, Ozzy broke his neck, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, and more.
Moreover, his wife and daughter, Sharon and Kelly, tested positive for novel coronavirus about ten months ago, but Ozzy never announced that he contracted the virus as well.
Although Ozzy has been living in the same house and sharing his bed with Sharon, it was so surprising to hear that the frontman didn’t catch the virus. In the conversation, he revealed the main reason behind it while being a bit sarcastic.
Even though the singer battles several health issues, he believes that being a devil worshipper prevented him from catching COVID-19, and that’s one of the greatest parts of being a servant of the devil, according to Ozzy.
Ozzy Osbourne talked about his health condition:
“These past two years I’ve been in a terrible fucking state. I’ve struggling with this fucking broken neck, looks like I’m in for more surgery. I’m in physical therapy right now.
My wife had the virus, my daughter had the virus and I never got it. Being a devil worshipper does have its good points!”
Later in the conversation, Ozzy also talked about his upcoming solo record, which will be the follow-up of his 2020’s ‘Ordinary Man’ record, and said that it will have a similar sound to the latest record.
