Black Sabbath vocalist and heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne tells his ideas about the Axl Rose’s singing for AC/DC’s live performs.

He talked with Liquid Metal and says:

“At first, I thought he was crazy, but then after seeing him do it – that guy’s got a great voice! I’ve seen videos, I thought, ‘How’s he gonna get them Brian Johnson [something]?’ He gets there! Everybody thought he’s a whack job. I’ve never met him, but he seems to know what he wants to do and he’s not afraid to say what he thinks.

I’ll do that as long as Angus wants to do it and as long as we can make it work. Guns are really supportive about it. I love that it’s my job. I love that Angus is my boss.

Singing the early Brian songs – the first couple of albums with Brian – those are something else to sing, so it’s physically a different animal and another kind of work. And I take pride in doing it. And it’s a hard thing in its own way. So after this [GN’R North American tour], there’s a few days off, and then I’ll do another 10 shows with AC/DC. And after that, it’s kind of, whatever Angus wants to do.”
