Mötley Crüe has shared a really rare concert banner of themselves on their official Twitter account and remembered the time when they were playing with Ozzy Osbourne on this day in 1983.

Here’s what they wrote:

“SHOUT! SHOUT! On this day in 1983 ‘Shout At The Devil’ was released! It went gold in Jan 1984 and was platinum less than a month later.⁣ January 1984 we hit the road with

and life was never the same!!⁣ ⁣ Where did you first hear ‘Shout out the Devil’?⁣”

A fan named Brian Meola commented on this tweet:

“In a barn in Princeton Massachuetts when I was 17 in 1983. Loved it then love it now thanks man.”

Another fan named Loree McKague said that:

“Still got my old, treasure Shout album from back in the day. Many a night I spent listening to those revolutionary, “Knock ’em Dead” tunes over and over and over again on my stereo.

The entire album hit us like a freight train. Those tales of the Ozzy tour are legendary.”
