The Black Sabbath founder and also a musical genius Ozzy Osbourne’s lovely wife Sharon Osbourne has opened up about the huge mental issues she had in 2015 and how she managed to heal herself with an interesting coincidence.
As you might already remember, Sharon has been struggling with mental problems for years. This week, she talked on her own TV show named ‘The Talk’ and confessed that she committed suicide 5 years ago and it was not for taking attention of the people.
According to Sharon, the two people that brought her to life were girls she met in a mental health facility. Those two young girls’ mother committed suicide and they could not get over it. After seeing these girls, Sharon decided that she should not do it to her own kids.
Here is what Sharon Osbourne told in her own TV show:
“Four years ago I was finding things very, very difficult, and I’ve been medicated for 28 years. I tried to take my life, and it wasn’t for attention. I just couldn’t bear it. You know.”
The Talk’s co-host Shery Underwood responded:
“I remember that time, and I remember us wanting to give you your space and your privacy.”
Sharon Osbourne continued:
“I sought help at a mental health facility. While I was there, I met two young girls whose stories inspired me to improve my mental health.
Both of the girls struggled with drugs and alcohol, and each of them lost her mother to suicide. It messed them up so bad that they couldn’t cope with their lives. And that shocked me into, ‘Come on, am I gonna do this to my family? To my babies? No way.’
It was like an electric shock, and it was like, ‘Get it together.'”
