The wife of Black Sabbath founder and frontman Ozzy Osbourne, Sharon Osbourne has announced that Ozzy will be back on stages in 2022 after canceling his UK tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The television personality and entertainment manager, Sharon Osbourne has recently talked to the Planet Rock and given some great updates on Ozzy’s upcoming plans including a tour and a brand new album.

As you might recall, on 21 February 2020, Osbourne released his first solo album in almost ten years, ‘Ordinary Man,’ which received positive reviews from music critics and debuted at number three on the UK Albums Chart.

A few days after the release, Osbourne told IHeartRadio that he wanted to make another album with Andrew Watt, the main producer of ‘Ordinary Man.’

After he recorded his latest album while recovering from surgery and some serious health issues such as pneumonia and Parkinson’s Disease, Osbourne decided to cancel all his 2019 and 2020 tour dates.

A long period after Ozzy’s last album and canceled tour plans, his wife Sharon has heralded that Ozzy Osbourne returns with a tour in 2022. She also said that Osbourne is in the studio right now doing a new album.

She explained Ozzy’s tour has been rebooked and it’s so exciting that everybody’s booking their tours again for like 2022, and finding availabilities right now. Agents and facilities are going nuts, trying to get everybody back, she added.

Here’s what Sharon Osbourne said about the upcoming plans of Ozzy Osbourne:

“Well that’s the thing right now. Everybody’s booking their tours again for like 2022, and to find availabilities right now, it’s crazy. Agents and facilities are going nuts, trying to get everybody back.

It will be exciting. I think it will be a very exciting time when bands do go back and it’ll be joyous.

Ozzy’s tour has been rebooked. The British tour, he’ll be back in ’22. You know, we just carry on as normal. We’ve been doing loads of TV shows here and you’ve got to just keep going until Ozzy can go back live.

He’s in the studio right now doing a new album. We’re going to do a movie of Ozzy’s life story and he’s got to do the soundtrack to that… So I’ll keep him busy, let’s put it that way.”
