He has inspired my son to start learning how to play the guitar at 9 years old. 🤘

Another fan named Zuhair Kayali stated:

Talking about his musical legacy would be too much repetition so I’d say how he influenced me as a person: always smiling, always having fun, never let the rock star persona take his humbleness or hospitality and I’ve only heard good stories about his fans interactions ❤️ always ready to put a smile on a fan’s face and always welcoming. I love you Dime ❤️

A young fan named Luke Thomas also wrote:

If it wasn’t for Dime I wouldn’t play guitar or have the best music to listen to. Happy birthday Darrell 🥃🥃

A Damageplan fan named Casey Earp shared a personal memory with Dime and Vinnie:

I met Dime and Vinny outside a Damageplan show, he couldn’t have been cooler, we did shots of whiskey and they both signed my hat which I still have, they hung out with us for at least an hour, it was amazing
