As we all agree, Ghost is one of the most popular groups in recent years. Vocalist of the band confessed that this success was not a much-anticipated success. Papa Emeritus spoke in an interview with FPH, telling the story of Ghost’s initials. He said:

“I was a part of several bands while first starting out Ghost [in 2006]. I was in a community where there was a bigger group of people in different bands at once.

Ghost was originally just a project, it was just a fun thing. And all of a sudden it exploded, and people were recruited out of proximity.

All of a sudden it was, especially for me, a full-time commitment. I was always aiming at being a professional musician, obviously.

At one point I was like, ‘Oh, that’s the train, and it’s leaving now.’ So you have to quickly make your mind up – what are you going to do? You need to put your eggs in the basket.”
