Hayley Williams, the founder and frontwoman of Paramore, has talked about the good, the bad, and the ugly of 2020 while naming the pop icon Billie Eilish’s mom as the person she’d most want to quarantine with due to her IG live streams that ‘soothe the shit out of’ Hayley.
During her latest conversation on Rolling Stone’s famous series, ‘How Was Your 2020,’ Hayley Williams, who has released her long-awaited debut solo album, ‘Petals for Armor,’ by Atlantic Records this year, looked back on 2020, giving details about her self-quarantine period.
Williams has responded to a great number of questions related to her personal taste, hobbies she took up during the lockdown, and her biggest hope for 2021. Hayley revealed that her favorite TV shows to stream during the quarantine were the Emmy-nominated series, ‘Normal People,’ and the comedy-drama series, ‘Insecure.’
She also unveiled that she started to make her own blends of tea when stuck at home for so long. Hayley said she got really nerdy about tea because it’s what has helped her create a meditative routine every morning.
The successful singer and businesswoman touched upon her expectations from 2021 on the eve and said she hopes the US has a new administration that will take seriously the fight for racial equity, as well as healthcare so that it will include more accessible resources for people suffering any kind of mental illness.
One of the most surprising answers Williams gave during the chat was to the question with whom she’d most want to quarantine. Paramore star admitted that it would definitely be Billie Eilish’s mom because she relieves her through her IG live streams where she cooks all kinds of different vegan comfort foods.
Here’s what Hayley Williams said when she was asked the celebrity she’d want to quarantine with:
“Billie Eilish’s mom. Her IG livestreams where she cooks all kinds of different vegan comfort foods soothe the shit out of me.”
Williams also revealed the hobby she picked up in quarantine as:
“Making my own blends of tea. I got really nerdy about tea actually because it’s sort of what has helped me create a meditative routine every morning.”
She concluded the interview by stating her biggest hope for 2021, that is:
“We will have a new administration that will take seriously the fight for racial equity; for healthcare that will include more accessible resources for people suffering any kind of mental illness; that rock music will continue its beautiful rise back to the forefront of everyone’s musical consciousness.”
