Paramore co-founder and frontwoman, Hayley Williams, posted a couple of new photos on her official Instagram account today to raise awareness for saving the music festival in his hometown, Nashville.
As you may follow the news, Nashville’s Music Forum The Exit/In’s concert area has gone under contract to build a luxury hotel for a while, and the organization started a GoFundMe campaign two days ago. The Exit/In has managed to raise almost $80.000 in a short time and the goal of the campaign is $200.000.
Hayley is one of the stars in the music scene that sends regular posts about Nashville’s Music Forum as she wants fans to support the cause. This week, Paramore re-released their highly anticipated merch ‘Tiny Hot Topic Bitch‘ shirt. According to Hayley, %100 proceeds of the product will go to preserving Nashville’s alternative music scene.
Here is what Williams wrote:
“Purchase this shirt, directly benefit the rock scene in Nashville. Independent venues Paramore grew up playing are in danger of being OVERdeveloped into more bullshit hotels. we want to fight that. please help us preserve EXIT/In.”
