KISS’ Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons have reacted to Green Day’s cover of their ‘Rock And Roll All Nite,’ which was on the setlist of the band for their recent performance.

Green Day made their first appearance on the stage after almost 18 months in a surprise warm-up performance for their Hella Mega tour. Not performing live for a long time due to the pandemic, the band allowed vaccinated fans only to see the show. Offering the fans the preview of what is to come, the show’s setlist featured classics from Green Day’s albums ‘American Idiot,’ ‘Dookie,’ and ‘Nimrod,’ as well as the cover of Kiss’ ‘Rock And Roll All Nite.’

Green Day’s Hella Mega tour featuring the contribution of Fall Out Boy and Weezer is known to be postponed several times, but it kicked off on July 24, in Dallas, Texas, and will conclude on September 6 at T Mobile Park in Seattle, Washington. It is known that the fans have a chance to win a trip to see the tour’s Los Angeles show with sweepstakes launched by Green Day and Oakland Coffee Works.

Upon seeing the cover of ‘Rock And Roll All Nite’ performed by Green Day during their first show of the tour on July 24, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons posted 30-second videos of the performance on their recent tweets. According to the tweets, the pair seemed delighted to hear the cover of Green Day as Gene Simmons thanked the band and Paul Stanley called it a reason to love Green Day.
