KISS rhythm guitarist Paul Stanley shared a post on his official Twitter page expressing his anger after seeing a video of Commissioner Diana Lachiondo crying and leaving the online meeting of City District Health because anti-mask protestors were banging on the doors of her house.
As you may know, since the COVID-19 pandemic started, one of the biggest measures is to wear a face mask in order to prevent it from spreading. Considering the primary way that the virus spreads is from one person to another by respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks, wearing a mask in public is quite essential.
However, there are a huge number of people who consider wearing a mask as a part of the government’s way of oppressing its citizens. The anti-maskers often protest the coronavirus regulations in the United States mostly due to Donald Trump’s statements saying wearing a mask is not an obligation and citizens don’t have to do it.
In addition to this, there are plenty of people who believe that face masks limit their freedom, therefore it’s a violation of freedom and most of them claim they are not afraid of dying due to coronavirus.
Although everyone has their own freedom to believe in whatever they want, the latest news about Commissioner Diana Lachiondo’s being exposed to the protest of anti-maskers at her own house was considered an extreme reaction by many people.
According to a recent article, Lachiondo had to leave a zoom meeting crying since anti-mask protestors were banging on the doors of her house while her 12-year-old was there as well. A lot of people got furious because of the psychological violence she and her kid had to go through.
Paul Stanley was one of those who were angry at the heartbreaking incident and shared a post on his official Twitter page expressing his rage. KISS icon stated that the people who have done this are delusional, disgusting, and dangerous. Stanley even accused those anti-maskers of being a ‘deaf, dumb, and blind mob.’
Here is how Paul Stanley reacted to the protest of anti-maskers:
“Delusional, Disgusting, and Dangerous. What have people like these regressed to? A deaf, dumb, and blind mob.”
