Paul Stanley, the co-lead vocalist of KISS, confirmed the news about the sudden death of his beloved friend Phil Ashley by penning a sorrowful letter on his Twitter account.

Stanley shared his grief about losing his close friend with the most sincere words in his tweet. He said that Phil Ashley was his dear friend who he could talk with the value of life, family, and music. He also added he is at a loss of words with the death of such a precious soul.

Phil Ashley was known as the composer and arranger. He produced the music for lots of companies’ commercials. He also had the chance to work with Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Lou Gramm, Issac Hayes, John Lee Hooker, Randy Bachman, Johnny Rotten, Cece Winan, Boys II Men, and Robert Gordon.

“I am at a loss for words. My dear friend Phil Ashley has died suddenly. He was a no-bullshit, warm and kind soul who I shared so many hours talking with about the value of life, family and music.

He played keyboards for many of the greats. The times we won’t have leaves me empty.”
