Paul Stanley, the co-lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of KISS, has celebrated the undeniable success of his sideband, Soul Station, who kicked ass without hot tub girls, sports cars, champagne, CGI, or special effects while shooting five songs in seven hours.

As you may know, the genius musician, Paul Stanley has spent the last few years developing a project which he defined as ‘something close to his heart.’ Soul Station is a band gathering some of today’s leading musicians to pay tribute to the greatest artists and songs from the R&B and soul catalog in addition to new original songs to keep this vital music current.

While a surprise to many, Stanley’s early pivotal roots in this music has quietly turned this passion into a celebrated touring and recording band. Stanley’s 17-piece ensemble band has toured the US and Japan, as well as spending recent time in the studio recording songs for a forthcoming yet-to-be-announced project.

Most recently, Paul Stanley has appeared on Twitter to rightly glorify Soul Station just after their COVID-compliant show. Stanley described his sideband as an awesome band playing awesome music. Besides, he pointed out the fact that fifteen of them put a great performance only through pure music, without a house of cards.

Here’s what Paul Stanley said in his latest tweet:

“Soul Station… We just shot five songs in seven hours. Fifteen of us kicking ass without hot tub girls, sports cars, champagne, CGI, or special effects.

Just an awesome band playing awesome music from our awesome album. And yes, a COVID-compliant day.”
