Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder’s wife Jill Vedder recently shared a post on his official Instagram page for Thanksgiving opening up about 2020 and stated that this year has been the worst for nearly everyone due to lots of loss and loneliness.

As we all know, 2020 has been full of catastrophic events so far with a pandemic that shook the world and caused numerous deaths. In addition to its effect on health, it also affected millions of lives due to the precautions, lockdowns, and limitations.

Furthermore, 2020 has also brought many deaths, especially in the music industry most recently the passing of Van Halen guitarist, legendary Eddie Van Halen who passed away due to cancer and devastated his fans and fellow musicians.

Everybody already perceived 2020 as the worst year ever, Jill Vedder also revealed on her latest Instagram Thanksgiving post that she also thinks like everyone else and 2020 is the worst year with a bunch of loss and loneliness included.

Vedder also stated that she is hoping to have a better year in 2021 in addition to revealing what she has been grateful for, her family, and the fact that 2020 is almost over.

Here is what Vedder said:

“Whatever your day looks like today I hope you can find it in your heart to be grateful and thankful for something in your lives. This year has been the worst ever for all of us… Lots of loss and loneliness…

Praying for a better 2021. I’m so thankful for having my girls and Ed with me everyday since March 7th and I’m super grateful this year is almost over.”
