The frontman of the rock band Pearl Jam, Eddie Vedder has appeared as the brand new guest on the IGTV interview series created and hosted by Chris Cornell‘s daughter Lily Cornell Silver and reflected his own perspective about mental health.

Lily Cornell Silver, who is a junior in college studying Media Studies, Sociology, and Psychology, launched the new series ‘Mind Wide Open‘ on July 20, 2020, via Instagram TV. The series, which has been taken to open and amplify the conversations around trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, and other challenges, includes six episodes so far.

On the latest episode of ‘Mind Wide Open,’ the great musician Eddie Vedder talked about mental health while giving his best advice to take a step for recovery. Explained that he has not been comfortable at giving advice, Vedder admitted he is good at taking advice. So the most accurate advice he can give is to take advice and don’t hesitate about it.

Cornell and Vedder discussed in this episode the societal and political impacts on mental health, Eddie’s own experiences, and the importance of activism and empathy. Lily also reminded her followers to register to vote. She referred to some organizations to learn more about the importance of voting, especially in the upcoming November election.
