Eddie Vedder, the lead vocalist, primary lyricist of Pearl Jam, and multi-instrumentalist, shared a post on his official Instagram page and announced to his fans that they can have the opportunity to hang out with him and the bassist Jeff Ament at the Pearl Jam Exhibit in Seattle.
Pearl Jam was formed in 1990 in Seattle and they outsold many of its contemporary alternative rock bands from the early 1990s. The band is considered one of the most influential bands of the decade and titled as the most popular American rock & roll band of the ’90s.
There is no question why Pearl Jam has its own exhibition in where they all started, Seattle. Pearl Jam Exhibit highlights 500+ artifacts including personal instruments, equipment, and stage props, eight films featuring rare live concert footage of the band over the decades, and the original towering letters from the cover of Pearl Jam’s debut album in 1991 titled Ten.
Eddie Vedder made an announcement on his official Instagram page and revealed that there will be a draw and the winner will have the opportunity to join Eddie Vedder and Jeff Ament on an after-hours tour of the Pearl Jam exhibit, walk through the band’s 30-year history with Eddie and Jeff, and hear their stories over drinks, Visit London Bridge Studios and see where Ten was recorded, and fly to Seattle and put up in the Pearl Jam Suite at The Edgewater Hotel with a friend.
Here is what Vedder said:
