Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder’s wife Jill Vedder posted the photo of the virtual event that the Pearl Jam members hosted to discuss the future of the U.S. and claimed that we had to make our voices heard by voting in the upcoming elections.
The members of Pearl Jam, particularly Eddie Vedder and his family, have been showing their reactions against the wrongdoings of the government often on social media platforms. Eddie and his wife Jill Vedder have never hesitated to express their personal opinions on politics regardless of the criticism they received from time to time.
A few days ago, the official Instagram account of Pearl Jam shared a photo of the band members and announced a virtual conversation during which they would discuss the future of the U.S. with the participation of Mr. Doug Emhoff and Dr. Jill Biden.
Recently on Instagram, Jill Vedder posted a photo she took during the live event her husband and the rest of the Pearl Jam members joined yesterday. On the caption of her post, Jill mentioned how proud she was of Eddie and his bandmates and thanked Dr. Jill Biden and Douglas Emhoff for taking the time to participate in the event.
Furthermore, Jill stated that ‘voting blue‘ in the upcoming presidential election would lead the country to a better future. She also urged her followers not to shut up and make their voices heard since there were too many important issues related to this specific election.
Here’s what Jill Vedder stated on the caption of her post:
“Proud of our guys! And thank you Dr. Jill Biden and Douglas Emhoff for taking the time to listen… Thank you Whitney for hosting this event .. we are with you🙏🏼
None of this will be perfect and we have a long way to go before everyone feels their voices are heard but I truly believe that voting blue in 26 days will lead us to a healthier more empathetic, compassionate path to where we have people in office that actually give a damn about our planet, the arts, our health and so much more.
So many issues are on the ballot that affects so many of us trying to live 🙏🏼💙 I am proud of the stance we take in our daily lives. None of us should just shut up and sing. Make your voice heard .. it matters .. it matters big time #bidenharris2020 #vote #ridinwithbiden”
