The lead vocalist of Pearl Jam, Eddie Vedder is announced to perform for the highly-anticipated event of the year, The Game Awards 2020, which will be live-streamed on December 10.

The Game Awards, which bring together a broad range of game developers, game players, and remarkable names from popular culture to celebrate gaming as the most inspiring form of entertainment since 2014, gave some great news for the Pearl Jam fans this year.

The organization announced that Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder will be performing during the event which will be hosted virtually by Geoff Keighley due to the pandemic of COVID-19. The show will be available for free on more than 45 global video platforms.

In addition to Vedder, the organization stated that Lorne Balfe is returning as the music director and conductor of The Game Awards’ multi-city broadcast. Balfe will conduct the phenomenal London Philharmonic Orchestra from London’s renowned Abbey Road Studios.

The award show, which aims to honor the best video games of 2020, will air from Hollywood, California, alongside the segments from Los Angeles, London, and Tokyo. The action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog, ‘The Last of Us Part II,’ received the most nominations by the organization this year.
