Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell recently posted a tweet on his Twitter account and announced that his family and he have been going through a rough patch due to their son‘s illness but said that a smile is finally returning to their face.

Perry Farrell is best known for his successful career as the lead singer of the alternative rock band Jane’s Addiction. In 1991, Farrell organized a touring festival named ‘Lollapalooza‘ in honor of Jane’s Addiction farewell tour, which has since then evolved to an annual destination festival.

The successful rockstar had made it to our headlines half a year ago after his risky and painful neck surgery. As you may recall, in September 2020 Farrell underwent a difficult surgery to remove some ‘crushed discs’ in his spine. The surgery was traumatizing for the famous rockstar as a part of the procedure included temporarily removing his voice box.

The procedure was successful and Perry Farrell soon started recovering. However, just before the Farrell family could take a deep breath and relax, one of their sons also faced a challenging illness. In his recent tweet, Farrell announced that their son has been in pain for the past three weeks and after a series of difficult procedures ‘a smile has finally returned to his face.’

Perry Farrell’s sincere and heartfelt tweet received dozens of responses filled with positive messages and wishes. Although Farrell is going through enough, he didn’t forget to send his good thoughts to the people in Texas who are currently faced with severe weather conditions which really warmed his fans’ hearts who praised him for his kindness and thoughtfulness.

“After 3 weeks of watching him shaking in pain, having 6 different doctors sew him together, watching his wound swell up from infection, cutting him back open, to discover he needed to attach the nerve endings from a cadaver in 6 places; a smile has finally returned to his face.”

He went on to say:

“My family and I also want to let you know that we are worrying about you tonight in the state of Texas. In places like Austin, where our Lolla partners are fighting off the freezing temperatures – or my family in Houston – who are preparing to be without water for days! We love you!”
