The co-founder and former vocalist of Pink Floyd, Roger Waters has released the video clip in which he sang together with Lucius for the film ‘Our Voices Together.’
Since the global pandemic caused great trouble for the live music and the entertainment industry this year, most of the renowned festivals have begun to create diverse solutions to keep music on.
The Newport Folk Festival, which is an American annual folk-oriented music festival in Newport, Rhode Island, set to make a movie that will please both the festival people and the indie musicians.
The Newport Festivals Foundation, which in the last year has provided financial relief to over 400 musicians impacted by the pandemic and over 100 grants for music education programs across the country, raises donations this year.
With the film ‘Our Voices Together‘, which was directed by Josh Goleman, the festival organizers gathered some of the great musicians including Roger Waters, Tom Morello, Amanda Shires, James Taylor and more. Waters has announced the film with a video clip in which he collaborated with Lucius on the song ‘Hello in There‘ on Twitter.
Here is what Roger Waters said on his tweet:
“This is a clip with Lucius from ‘Our Voices Together‘, a film about Newport Folk Fest. ‘Hello in There‘ I did at Newport Folk with John Prine in 2017. Here’s a link to their site. Precious memories.”
