The official Instagram account of Pink Floyd has shared a very rare poster photo from their history and remembered a very special day that affected their entire career.

In the Instagram post, Pink Floyd paid attention to a very important day for their career and the photo taken from their ‘on this day’ archive. The band stated that 43 years ago today, they started a massive German tour called ‘In The Flesh.’

Also, this tour leads the way for the band’s next project, the song named ‘In The Flesh.‘ It was released after two years from the Germany tour which is featuring Roger Waters’ bizarre moment from that tour; he spat at a fan who was attempting to climb the fence that separates the band from the crowd.

Here is what Pink Floyd captioned:

“The 1977 In The Flesh tour began on this day in Germany. Curiously the poster featured a picture of the band from some years previously – where would you normally expect to see this image? The name of the tour, of course, was used on the next band project…”

A fan named Reinhold Mitzkus wrote:

“I was there… first Pink Floyd concert. But not the last 😄😄😄😄😄”

Another fan named Curtis Kennedy said:

“They all look tired.”
