Pink Floyd’s legendary guitarist and also the former co-lead vocalist just before Syd Barrett has parted ways with the band, David Gilmour, has shared a new tweet on his official Twitter page today and announced that they’ve begun to upload some new materials on his official YouTube channel.

As you may already know, David Gilmour is one of the most inactive social media users of the music scene. He’s sent his latest ever tweet almost 2 months ago and that tweet was also about the Von Trapped Family’s latest live stream.

David Gilmour has made a lot of solo acoustic performances with his beloved family during the self-quarantine days in 2020. Lastly, he covered yet another Pink Floyd legend Syd Barrett’s ‘Dominoes’ For ‘Von Trapped Series’, and now, fans can watch that performance in higher quality.

‘Dominoes’ was the third track of Syd Barrett’s latest ever studio album named ‘Barrett’ that was released in 1970 and the whole tracks of the album were produced by David Gilmour himself.

Here is what David Gilmour’s official Twitter account wrote:

David has put together some higher quality videos of his performances from the Von Trapped Family live streams, which we’ll be uploading to his YouTube channel over the coming weeks.

We begin with David’s cover of Syd Barrett’s Dominoes from May 2020.
