After about the two weeks of silence, Pink Floyd singer/guitarist David Gilmour has broken his social media silence today and shared a special photo of himself with his beloved wife, Polly Samson, via his official Twitter account.

In the caption, David stated that he got a message from Newham Book Shop which is about a charity movement. After the message, David took some Pink Floyd materials and signed them for the charity that he mentioned in the caption.

As you can see in the photo below, he was signing some CDs with his wife and explained what he will do with them.

Here’s the statement of David Gilmour:

“The brilliant folk at @NewhamBookshop who are still managing orders by email asked @PollySamson to send them some signed bookplates for her new book and we’ve put some signed CDs in so they can raise funds for all the wonderful work they do with charities.

Follow them for info.”

A user named Black Bird commented:

“You’re a legend, David! Stay safe”

Another user named Frans Cassar wrote this and warned him:

“Stay home and stay safe David, but please put in some live playing for all people in isolation or the suffering ones.”
