Iconic Pink Floyd bassist and singer, Roger Waters, uploaded a new video on his verified Twitter account, paying his tribute to the legendary singer-songwriter John Prine after his tragic death.

On April 7, two-times Grammy-winner artist John Prine passed away at the age of 73 due to complications from COVID-19.

Waters took to social media and shared an acoustic cover he recorded in his studio of John Prine’s one of the iconic songs, ‘Paradise,’ in a new tweet. He captioned the tweet by saying ‘miss you, brother.’

Here’s what Roger Water stated:

“My friend John Prine died. This is his song, “Paradise”. Miss you, brother.”

A Twitter user named Geoff commented and said:

“Beautiful Roger. 🙏”

Another fan named cezxnne wrote:

“I’m so very sorry Roger. What a beautiful tribute. Stay strong.”
