Queen’s iconic guitarist Brian May made a new interview with Daily and Sunday Express and revealed a never-told-before fight story of Freddie Mercury.

According to Brian May, Freddie Mercury had a fight several times with English star David Bowie and they locked horns in 1982.

Here is what Brian said:

“It wasn’t easy because we were all precocious boys and David was very… forceful, yes. Freddie and David locked horns, without a doubt. But those are the things that happen in a studio, that’s when the sparks fly and that’s why it turned out so great.

May gave more specific details about David and Freddie’s fight:

“They battled in subtle ways, like who would arrive last at the studio. So it was sort of wonderful and terrible. But in my mind, I remember the wonderful now, more than the terrible.”

Last week, we published an article about how Rami Malek got into shape and trained hard to look exactly like Freddie Mercury in front of the camera.

A trainer who worked with stars like 50 Cent and Kevin Love, Jay Cardiello was also the trainer of Rami Malek and here is what he said about him:

“When you look at Freddie Mercury when he got on stage at Live Aid, he was muscular, he was ripped. [Malek] had to pack on muscle, and we had to do it in a smart way.”
