Queen guitarist Brian May has shared a new photo on his official Instagram account and revealed the details of the problem he had with social media.
Queen members showed their support to the world during the coronavirus outbreak by recording a short cover of ‘We Are The Champions’ with Adam Lambert, named ‘You Are The Champions.’ Also, they will donate the funds to the World Health Organization.
After the release of this cover, Brian shared a new video of the song on Instagram, but the social media platform deleted the video for some reason, most likely due to the copyright problem.
Because of that, Brian thought that he let everybody down by not being able to show them the cover of ‘We Are The Champions,’ which is one of the best songs that we remember the legacy of Freddie Mercury.
Also, Brian apologized to his followers for this mistake and led everybody to Youtube for the video. In his way, he showed how kind-hearted he is.
Here is what Brian May said:
“I’m so sorry to let everybody down. I posted our new QAL video but it’s been blocked, apparently on the instructions of our record company.
I’m gutted. But please go to the Queen YouTube channel to see it at full strength.”
A fan named Jun added this comment:
“I downloaded it! I’m proud to be your fan. It brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for the great song!”
Another fan named Colleen Fox wrote:
“No worries! Already bought! So proud of you guys!”
