The legendary guitarist of Queen, Brian May was the recent interview guest of Zoe Ball’s Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 and revealed that Queen + Adam Lambert will not play Glastonbury Festival next year.
Here is what Brian May told Zoe Ball:
“No we won’t – and there are lots of reasons. One of them is that Glastonbury co-creator Michael Eavis has frequently insulted me, and I don’t really particularly enjoy that.”
Brian continued:
“What bothers me more is that he’s in favour of the badger cull, which I regard as a tragedy and an unnecessary crime against wildlife.
So no. There’s a little bit of a schism there. I wouldn’t do Glastonbury unless things changed radically.”
