Absolute Radio held ‘The Greatest Live Acts of All Time’ in association with the ‘Teenage Cancer Trust’ to reveal the best live act that ever happened in the history of music, voted by the Absolute Radio listeners.
After receiving thousands of votes in only a few weeks, the winner of ‘The Greatest Live Acts of All Time’ is revealed to be the legendary rock band, Queen. After hearing the news, Queen’s drummer Roger Taylor shared a video of himself, thanking the Absolute Radio listeners:
“Well, that is the most incredible news and an absolute honor to hear that Queen have been voted the best live act of all time. We’re just thrilled.
Thank you so much Absolute listeners. It’s much appreciated.”
Taylor also pointed out that they are going to be performing next year:
“We really hope in all this horrible time that we are going to be performing for you next year. In the meantime, see you on the other side, and we look forward to that!”
In ‘The Greatest Live Acts of All Time’ list, Foo Fighters were number two and Bruce Springsteen was number three. The fourth place was Muse’s. The Irish band U2 followed them and came the fifth.
Queen fans loved Roger Taylor’s message and congratulated Queen, saying that it was well deserved.
