Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello has shared a new photo with KISS legend, Paul Stanley, on the official Instagram account and paid tribute to this band.
As you might already know, Tom introduced KISS in Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame 2014 and mentioned this memorable moment in the caption.
Yesterday, Tom Morello watched KISS at Staples Center in their ‘The End Of The Road World Tour’ and impressed by their performances. Also, he stated that Paul Stanley was on his top level in the show.
Later on, Tom headed to the backstage and took a picture with Paul to show how much he loves the ‘Starchild.’ Afterward, he shared this picture on social media and showed his respect to the band.
This post reached almost 50.000 likes in one day and most of the fans shared their reaction in the comment section of the post.
Here is what Tom Morello wrote:
“KISS was my first concert and sent me, like so many others (including members of Tool, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Sound Garden, Lenny Kravitz, Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails, etc, etc), careening headlong down the path of rock n roll.
Inducting them into the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame was an honor. Great to see The Starchild, Paul Stanley, rocking Staples Center HARD tonight on their farewell tour. (Kudos to David Lee Roth for sounding damn good opening the show.)”
A fan named Yannick added this comment:
“People don’t realize how massive Kiss was back in the ’70s and ’80s and how many rock artists they have inspired.”
Another fan named Cassandra said:
“How many farewell concerts can they have? Been happening for almost 20 years now.”
