Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek spoke about the Freddie Mercury’s sister in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel and this statement shared by Express.co.uk.
According to report of Express, Rami Malek has revealed the ’emotional moment’ that happened between him and Freddie Mercury’s sister. Malek said:
“I met his (Freddie Mercury’s) sister, she got to see me as young Freddie with long hair and the teeth, make-up, the whole 1970s, early glam-rock look.
But in a surprising turn of events, an overwhelmed Cooke “laughed”. As you can imagine it was an incredibly bizarre, alien moment for her.”
Jimmy Kimmel said ‘he would have expected her to be in tears’ and Rami Malek responded:
“Later on, it was a very emotional moment. On a serious note, she wrote me the most moving email, it was very powerful. To get that vote of appreciation from the people who were closest to him was everything for me.”

Three days ago, Rami Malek expressed his feelings about portraying Freddie Mercury and said:
“It was an immense responsibility for me. I felt like I was running on a highly confident level at times.
This was an honour to portray Freddie Mercury, and there was a certain amount of justice that you have to give to the man in order to portray him, or portray the band. So I wanted to go to work with the highest level of functioning capability I could.
So we all raised our games, day in and day out. And I appreciated taking a leadership responsibility, because that’s what Freddie would have done.”
