The founding member and bassist of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Flea, recently posted a tweet on his Twitter account and talked about what type of people he likes being around while stressing that he is a student looking to learn.

As you know, Flea is one of the rockstars who are the most active on their social media accounts. In specific, he often enjoys using Twitter to share his views on social and political matters, update his followers on his upcoming projects, and of course to interact with his devoted fans.

Recently, he posted a tweet on his Twitter that inspired thousands of people who applauded Flea for his progressive way of thinking. In his tweet, Flea said that he highly enjoys being surrounded by people who are better than him in various ways because interacting with them helps him grow.

He went on to say that he actually prefers being around people who know more than him because he enjoys being a student rather than a teacher. One of the hundreds of comments that he received said that it’s so refreshing to see one of the greatest bass players of all time embrace such a progressive way of thinking and said that it’s definitely ‘something for all humans to strive towards.’
