Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ iconic guitarist Flea posted a picture of recently deceased businessman Steve Bing on Instagram and wrote about his feelings regarding his tragic death.

As you might know, the businessman and film producer Steve Bing sadly passed away on June 22, 2020, at the age of 55. The cause of death was suicide by jumping from the 27th floor of an apartment building in Los Angeles. Steve had two children including his son Damian from his relationship with the famous actress Elizabeth Hurley.

Steve Bing was also an important person in Red Hot Chili Peppers’ bass guitarist Flea’s life. Apparently, Steve contributed to the building of the ‘Silverlake Conservatory of Music,‘ which was a nonprofit community music school in Los Angeles founded by Flea.

Flea posted a picture of Steve on his Instagram account and shared his feelings about this tragic death. He also mentioned how significant Steve was for helping him to found his organization.

Steve Bing was a kind and thoughtful man. A massive help in building the Silverlake Conservatory of Music, he went up and beyond to help us educate children who couldn’t otherwise afford it, he just cared and never wanted accolades. God bless his beautiful soul.
